On Friday 21 March, Road-STEAMer had a joint workshop with its “sister projects” The SEER and Sense.STEAM. Cross-project collaboration will continue over the coming months to ensure that the three roadmaps for advancing STEAM education across Europe.
The Road-STEAMer project in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Malta took part in a global movement, joining 134 simultaneous events worldwide to celebrate Equal Day and bringing the ‘Science in the City’ festival in the schools.

Road-STEAMer took part in the 14th International CoMuseum Conference in Athens. Its participation highlighted the role of interdisciplinary engagement in fostering inclusion, trust, and impactful science learning.
The Road-STEAMer project will participate at the Ecsite 2025 Conference, taking place at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, Poland. Participants will acquire knowledge on practical tools, strategies, and best practices from experts in Open Schooling. The session will offer a dynamic space to exchange ideas, and advance impactful learning models.

Road-STEAMer is excited to announce a significant event on STE(A)M education policy, practices and funding, taking place at Panteion University in Athens on 14 January 2025.
We invite educators, researchers, game designers, and creative professionals to participate in a three-hour workshop titled “Video Games in STEAM and as STEAM: Learning and Innovating Through Play.” This workshop presents a playful opportunity to explore how the principles of STEAM can be integrated with innovative game design to create engaging and educational experiences. Additionally, we will examine how video games inherently incorporate STEAM logic and the lessons they offer.
